About iNurse Delegate

iNurse Delegate (iND) is a nurse delegation firm created by Pat T. Nixon in 2020. Pat has extensive nursing expertise and is a certified dementia practitioner, assisted living manager, and RALA certified. As an experienced residential care and home care operator, Pat knew that care for residents and managing a business could be improved. Her hands-on industry knowledge gave her the ability to see the lack of clarity, organization, and proper training for long-term care providers. iNurse Delegate was created to solve these issues and offer better care for clients and better business practices for communities.

We serve residential care providers such as assisted living facilities, home and community-based services, and mental health residential services with training, delegation, nurse management consulting, and education.

Our clients utilize these services to help them ensure quality care for their residents. Our specialty is individuals experiencing intellectual or developmental disabilities, geriatric or age-related illness, homelessness, and/or mental health disabilities.

Nurse delegation supports the client’s preference in the provision of health care, including the choice and control for delivery of services in the community-based setting.

Unlike other companies, iNurse Delegate combines both the assisted living regulations as mandated by Texas Health and Human Services and the Texas Board of Nursing to offer holistic support for our clients’ clinical operations. We offer real-time delegation and support through state surveys.

Since its inception, iNurse Delegate has served more than 24 communities in the Dallas Fort Worth area.

About the Founder, Pat T. Nixon

Pat T. Nixon, RN – BSN, MBA is the owner of iNurse Delegate, delegating and training more than twenty Assisted Living and Personal Assistance Agencies across Texas. She has strategically studied the regulations from both Texas Health and Human Services as well as the Texas Board of Nursing to debunk the mysteries behind safe and effective delegation. She maintains her Certification in Assisted Living Management and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner.

She has spoken across Texas educating nurses, managers, and senior care operators on RN Delegation and how it can be used to grow their Assisted Living or Personal Assistance Service Agency. Having successfully operated assisted living facilities, home health agencies, and personal care agencies, Pat is an expert on the regulations and legislation affecting senior care. As an RN, Pat holds a clinical background in the management of geriatric patients in both acute care, home health and hospice settings.

Pat’s passion lies in her nurture. She aspires to be a catalyst for community support of the elderly—especially veterans and those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. She defines her presence in the senior community as a privilege from Christ.

“How blessed I am to be entrusted with such a noble and rewarding place in the lives of others.”

After a successful career in medical spa sales and marketing, Pat found her passion at the bedside through therapeutic touch and intentional presence.  She successfully owned and operated Beauty Trend Mobile Spa offering spa services in the home setting for seniors who were unable to visit a brick-and-mortar location.

Pat believes in education and mastery. Throughout her career, she has achieved various certifications and awards in order to add value to the senior community. This strong passion led to the startup of iNurse Delegate, providing clinical consulting, caregiver training, and nurse delegation for small, assisted living communities and residential care homes.

Pat earned an associate degree in nursing from South Suburban College and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan. To support her natural entrepreneurial spirit and sales talent, Pat completed her master’s degree in business administration at Olivet Nazarene University.

Pat Nixon is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program, designed by the nation’s top entrepreneurial school.

Pat is the president and CEO of We Are One Heart Foundation, Inc, a 501c3 nonprofit organization specializing in long-term care management for seniors as well as senior housing. Starting this nonprofit is personal to Pat, as she helped her father navigate the complexities of long-term care.

She is also a member of the Texas Nurses Association (TNA), Texas Organization of Residential Care Homes (TORCH), and a mentee of the Small Business Association’s SCORE program. She is a proud mother of two amazing children who exemplify a heart for seniors through their volunteerism and acts of kindness in the community.
